About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide installation support, maintenance, modification and/or repair on various Advanced Staining instruments
Communicate with internal colleagues and external customers within established time guidelines
Document and complete service administration activities in a timely manner
Ensure timely and appropriate application of published Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs)
Support the sale of service contracts
Assist sales representatives and service engineers with system configurations and upgrades
Provide input to improve financial performance and generate service revenue
Provide technical service and support in the field on Advanced Staining/CH/PI equipment
Minimize customer downtime and generate revenue opportunities for Leica Biosystems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Technical High School Diploma (Mechanic, Electric, Electronic...)
At least 3 years of experience as a FSE in the Biomedical industry, dealing with Hospital equipments (diagnostic laboratories)
Good English (both written and spoken)
Good IT skills
Integrity and understanding of compliance requirements
Willingness to travel extensively (80% of travel activity with some trainings abroad)
Experience in Anatomy Pathology is a plus
Team player able to work autonomously
Excellent organizational skills
