About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Service Beckman Coulter products at customer facilities
Cultivate customer relationships and support commercial initiatives
Drive urgency to address customer needs promptly

Increase throughput and decrease downtime
Perform regular preventive maintenance
Complete regular upgrades as directed by Beckman Coulter technical staff
Advocate for internal and external customers
Report to the Southeast Manager as part of the Southeast Field Service Team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical, biomedical engineering, life science or equivalent military experience
1+ years of experience problem solving, diagnosing, or troubleshooting challenges
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to commute onsite to customer facilities within assigned territory
Ability to travel overnight 25%–60%
Ability to occasionally lift, lower and move up to 50 lbs.
Prior laboratory or field service experience is a plus
Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment is a plus
