About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee and implement Environmental Health, Safety, and related regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance, identify and resolve EHS gaps, and reduce risks
- Lead the EHS function for a combined manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and R&D site
- Lead and implement EHS Management System program activities, including program evaluations, compliance audits, corrective action plans, and associate onboarding and ongoing training
- Lead risk assessments, safety observations, incident investigations, inspections, and corrective actions using DBS problem-solving tools
- Manage environmental permits, regulatory reporting, and compliance requirements
- Monitor and maintain EHS performance, including tracking key performance indicators, trends, and emerging regulations
- Report to the Global EHS Manager as part of the Global EHS team
- Work onsite at the IDT location in Sunnyvale, California
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required
- At least three years of experience
- Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or other regulated operations
- Working knowledge of applicable Cal/OSHA, EPA, RCRA, and related regulatory requirements
- Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to influence and engage associates and leaders at all levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel as required, up to 5%, including overnight stays
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs
- Preferred: CSP, ASP, CIH, or CHMM certification
- Preferred: HAZWOPER first responder operations level experience
- Preferred: Danaher Business System or equivalent continuous improvement methodologies experience
