Key responsibilities & impact

Review capital placement agreements and determine appropriate lease classification under ASC 842 and Danaher policies
Evaluate non-standard terms and conditions in customer orders and contracts
Develop technically sound revenue recognition conclusions under ASC 606
Perform accounting for distribution rebates and chargebacks
Provide technical support for revenue-related month-end close activities and audit requests
Develop advanced expertise in ASC 842 and support accurate, compliant revenue and lease reporting
Lead and support automation initiatives to optimize and streamline revenue operations processes
Deepen functional knowledge of SAP Quote-to-Cash and Revenue Accounting and Reporting modules
Report to the Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting as part of the Revenue & Technical Accounting team

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
5+ years of accounting experience
Strong hands-on knowledge of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Lease Accounting)
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal
Aptitude for quickly learning new concepts and accounting guidance, including evolving standards and technical literature
Ability to travel approximately 5%
Big 4 or public/private industry accounting experience preferred but not required
ERP system implementation experience, including UAT, data validations, and data analytics activities
Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA and SAP RAR module
