About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions by translating requirements into technical specifications
Work across Analytic, Data Science, and Business Intelligence functions
Engage continuously with stakeholders to understand business goals and collect requirements
Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications for data integrations, data modeling, dashboards, and reports
Prioritize user stories into project and release sequences
Collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver efficient solutions
Engage with the Data and Analytics user community to support solution adoption
Report to the Senior Director Data Engineering as part of the Data Engineering Team

Requirements

What you’ll need

5–7 years of Business Analyst experience, preferably within Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Data Engineering environments
Strong proficiency in data analysis, requirements elicitation, process modeling, and SQL
Hands-on experience leveraging Snowflake and Power BI
Experience with JIRA and Confluence
5+ years of hands-on experience working with Dashboards or Data Preparation
3 years of experience working in Agile teams that work in sprints
Ability to travel to Washington DC and global Danaher sites, up to 10%
