About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide risk management across Dandy’s business while encouraging rapid growth
  • Draft and negotiate commercial agreements with customers and partners
  • Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, Go-to-Market, and Marketing teams to maximize ROI
  • Support product and market launches, pricing, go-to-market motions, and customer lifecycle initiatives
  • Translate legal requirements and frameworks for sales, marketing, supply chain, and other stakeholders
  • Advise internal business partners and executives on legal matters and risk
  • Drive Dandy’s legal function, including commercial contracts, sales, go-to-market, corporate, employment, dispute resolution, and international market access
  • Provide commercial guidance to business units and leadership on legal risks and opportunities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience as a lawyer generally
  • 4+ years of experience in commercial-focused work
  • 2+ years of experience in-house at a tech company is a plus; B2B startups preferred
  • JD, LL.M, or equivalent degree
  • STEM focus is a plus
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and make quick, sound decisions
  • Bias for speed and comfort with getting to 70% of the right answer quickly
  • Strategic focus on business outcomes over pure legal risk mitigation
  • Experience effectively collaborating across multiple teams and priorities
  • Ability to work in the United States
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States for Dandy
