About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own quarterly new-business revenue across Darkroom’s media practice, led by paid media
  • Build referral partnerships with Meta, Google, TikTok, measurement and attribution vendors, Shopify Plus, enterprise commerce platforms, creator and affiliate platforms, private equity, and brand holdco networks
  • Represent Darkroom at industry events and conferences
  • Develop and pursue a named enterprise target list with a defined category focus
  • Field and close enterprise inbound opportunities
  • Attach creator and performance creative services to new media deals
  • Lead discovery, media audits, scoping, pricing, proposals, negotiations, and deal closing
  • Work with marketing on inbound strategy across content, creators, SEO, and other deal sources
  • Run weekly expansion meetings with Managing Directors and strategy leadership
  • Identify and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the existing client base
  • Maintain current knowledge of paid media, creator, and performance creative services and platforms
  • Participate in onboarding calls for new clients
  • Maintain pipeline documentation in HubSpot and Notion
  • Achieve quarterly quota, media-led new-business, attach-rate, average-deal-size, upsell/cross-sell, self-sourced pipeline, inbound-deal, and pipeline-hygiene objectives
  • Does not perform campaign changes, creative production, optimizations, QBRs, or high-volume cold prospecting outside the practice

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years in a full-cycle Account Executive or equivalent sales role
  • Documented record of closing enterprise-scale deals
  • Agency, media, AdTech/MarTech, or SaaS experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to discuss CAC, LTV, incrementality, MMM, Meta, Google, TikTok, creative testing cadence, and creator-led acquisition
  • Experience carrying an enterprise quota and closing new-business and expansion deals with long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to source own pipeline
  • Knowledge of platform partnerships, holdco relationships, and conference-based enterprise pipeline development
  • Highly organized, proactive, and self-directed
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or equivalent CRM, Notion, Google Workspace, and Slack
  • Comfort reading performance data and dashboards, including ad-platform and attribution reporting
  • Fluent English
  • Strong video presence and ability to present to founders, CMOs, and heads of growth
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship requirements are queried in the application form
