About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of lifecycle marketing experts to drive subscriber growth and revenue
  • Build a retention program from the ground up for a high-growth consumer technology company
  • Partner cross-functionally to analyze customer behavior, activation, loyalty, and long-term customer value
  • Own the client’s top-line retention revenue number
  • Build, defend, and update the retention revenue forecast
  • Serve as senior point of contact for the client and meet weekly to review performance and shape initiatives
  • Set segmentation and lifecycle strategy
  • Prioritize roadmaps for flows, campaigns, and tests
  • Own subscription activation and retention, including trial, onboarding, conversion, loyalty, repeat purchase, and win-back programming
  • Conduct weekly 1:1s, manage workload and capacity, and develop direct reports
  • Develop the strategic campaign calendar and oversee high-volume delivery
  • Review client briefs and creative for approval
  • Set the client KPI framework and turn results into insights and recommendations
  • Coordinate with Performance Marketing and Strategy teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7+ years of experience in digital, growth, or lifecycle marketing, including subscription or SaaS products
  • Experience owning a revenue or subscriber target and building forecasts for list growth, conversion, activation, and churn
  • Experience scaling lifecycle programs during rapid list growth and high sending volume
  • Experience building lead capture, welcome series, first-conversion, and subscription activation funnels
  • Fluency in subscription economics, including trial-to-paid, activation, free-to-paid, upgrades, downgrades, involuntary churn, and win-back
  • Experience developing loyalty, referral, or rewards programming that measurably improved repeat purchase and LTV
  • Experience with an enterprise-grade ESP such as Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, or Customer.io
  • Ability to use complex segmentation, event-driven journeys, in-app and push messaging, and product data integrations
  • Data-driven decision-making and ability to build reporting and translate analysis into lifecycle strategy
  • Ability to project manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior direct-report experience or exceptional cross-functional leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to articulate complex and technical ideas to varied audiences
  • Current knowledge of consumer technology, subscription, and lifecycle marketing
  • Clear, fluent English communication for U.S.-based clients and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work 9 am–5 pm EST
