About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the measurement program for a dedicated client engagement
  • Audit measurement setup and establish architecture connecting media delivery, web and app activity, customer behavior, and revenue
  • Define event taxonomies, campaign naming conventions, KPI definitions, attribution rules, and reporting requirements
  • Build and maintain analytical datasets, SQL queries, automated workflows, and dashboards
  • Reconcile platform discrepancies and establish ongoing data quality checks
  • Partner with engineering and implementation teams on tracking, integrations, identity matching, and data pipelines
  • Own a prioritized incrementality testing roadmap
  • Design and execute geo holdouts, matched-market tests, audience holdouts, platform conversion studies, brand lift studies, and controlled A/B experiments
  • Establish hypotheses, primary outcomes, power analyses, minimum detectable effects, budgets, test duration, and decision criteria
  • Coordinate test execution, monitor test integrity, and deliver readouts explaining incremental impact, uncertainty, business implications, and next steps
  • Manage external marketing mix modeling and incrementality partners, including onboarding, data delivery, methodology reviews, and recurring analyses
  • Evaluate modeling readiness based on historical data, spend variation, and outcome volume
  • Pressure-test model assumptions and outputs, including baseline demand, lagged effects, saturation, and product or market changes
  • Combine experiment results, MMM, attribution, and business performance to inform response curves, marginal returns, and budget scenarios
  • Build KPI frameworks across awareness, acquisition, activation, conversion, retention, and customer value
  • Develop measurement approaches across paid social, search, online video, creators, programmatic, CTV, audio, and offline channels
  • Evaluate demand creation effects on search, direct traffic, and subsequent conversion
  • Analyze cohorts by acquisition source, market, creative, audience, and customer segment
  • Maintain and refine growth forecasts and investment scenarios
  • Identify diminishing returns, expansion opportunities, and activation, conversion, retention, or profitability constraints
  • Build reporting and lead measurement discussions with internal and client stakeholders
  • Translate complex findings into recommendations on what to scale, change, or test next

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ideally 5–6+ years of relevant experience in marketing science, measurement, growth analytics, or a closely related field
  • Advanced SQL and strong Python or R skills
  • Hands-on experience designing and analyzing incrementality experiments, including geo holdouts, matched-market tests, audience holdouts, lift studies, power analysis, and interpretation of uncertain or inconclusive results
  • Practical marketing mix modeling (MMM) experience, including data preparation, modeling partners, methodology evaluation, and translating findings into investment decisions
  • Experience establishing measurement infrastructure across advertising platforms, web or app analytics, customer data, and revenue systems
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel media, attribution limitations, cohort analysis, CAC, LTV, payback, and contribution margin
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses and visualization tools
  • Ability to build reliable analytical models and reporting
  • Clear communication and strong ownership
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate with technical teams, and defend recommendations with evidence
  • Ability to work 9 am–5 pm EST
  • Clear, fluent English communication with U.S.-based clients and senior stakeholders
  • Eligibility to work in the United States of America
  • Hands-on experience with geo holdouts, matched-market tests, audience holdouts, or lift studies
  • Experience working with MMM, either building models or managing a modeling vendor/partner
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
  • Experience building or maintaining measurement infrastructure from scratch
  • Experience in an agency, consultancy, or client-facing environment
