About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform software testing using predefined test scripts for release validation cycles or specific requests
Create and update test scripts and testing methodologies for the company’s software products
Report bugs to the Development Department, specify the expected result, and provide guidance on how to reproduce the issue
Create release notes and list routines or features that have been changed, enhanced, or fixed
Make new versions available to customers for updates after testing is completed
Stay current with new technologies, methods, and processes, and propose changes to ensure software quality
Support and guide analysts and assistants in using the methodology and carrying out tests
Ensure the adoption of quality best practices
Comply with company policies, procedures, standards, and management system requirements
Perform other duties related to the role as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or a related field
Strong experience in software testing
Intermediate knowledge of testing techniques and types
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and the software development life cycle
Knowledge of automated testing
Experience with API and database testing
Experience using test management and bug-tracking tools
Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
Good communication and collaborative skills
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Proactive approach and strong sense of responsibility
Bachelor’s degree or associate-level technology degree
