Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with Sales to perform deep discovery, map customer organizations, quantify the business value of $10M+ problems, and define pilots with MVPs, success criteria, and timelines
Own end-to-end product direction from initial discovery through production launch and adoption
Author PRDs, prioritize engineering backlogs, manage scope, and perform hands-on QA testing
Translate business requirements into data, integration, security, and operational requirements
Drive FDE build teams through agile delivery and manage stakeholders from C-suite executives to engineers
Lead technical discovery and design reviews; evaluate architectures, technical trade-offs, and risks
Own Day 0 launches, manage war rooms, drive adoption, capture feedback, and prove business value
Own production readiness across data quality, testing, security, performance, and operations
Scope maintenance plans, create customer documentation and training, identify additional FDE engagements, codify reusable solution patterns, and relay field insights to Product and Engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically 7+ years of experience delivering complex, customer-facing data, analytics, AI, or software engagements, or equivalent experience as a founder or technical builder
Experience delivering data, machine learning, or generative AI systems into production
Understanding of integration, operational, and adoption challenges in real environments
Understanding of modern data and AI architectures, including cloud platforms, data pipelines, data models, distributed systems, APIs, security and governance, machine learning, and generative AI application patterns
Proficiency in at least one language, such as Python, Java, or SQL
Ability to explore data, work in notebooks, read and review code and pipelines, build or adapt prototypes, and contribute to troubleshooting
Ability to define product requirements, prioritize engineering work, manage scope, and lead complex agile software projects
Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills
Willingness to work onsite with customers, often 25–50% and sometimes higher
