Own product or platform projects end-to-end, from idea through build, release, measurement, and iteration
Shape the technical direction of systems from architecture through implementation
Own shipped services and keep them scalable, reliable, and observable as they grow, including LLM-powered services
Raise standards for technical decisions and architecture across scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems
Advocate for high standards in testing, observability, code quality, and long-term engineering excellence
Use data, metrics, and user feedback to decide what to build next
Grow engineers through mentorship, technical leadership, and thoughtful code review

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years building software across the stack
Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React is a strong plus
Start-up, early-stage, or small-company experience
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-velocity environments and ship quickly
Strong product mindset and pragmatism
Daily, hands-on use of agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex for 6+ months
Ability to write custom skills and wire up MCP servers, and demonstrate work built with them
Expert knowledge of modern API design and microservices architecture
Track record of independently taking large, ambiguous problems end to end, including greenfield 0→1 builds and improving complex existing systems
