Key responsibilities & impact

Own product or platform projects end-to-end from idea through build, release, measurement, and iteration
Shape technical direction from architecture through implementation
Own and scale reliable, observable services, increasingly powered by LLMs
Raise standards for architecture, testing, observability, code quality, and long-term engineering excellence
Use data, metrics, and user feedback to determine priorities
Mentor engineers through technical leadership and thoughtful code review
Partner with Product, Design, and fellow engineers to ship high-quality products

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years building software across the stack
Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and React is a strong plus
Start-up, early-stage, or small-company experience
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-velocity environments and ship quickly
Strong product mindset and pragmatism
Daily, hands-on use of agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex for 6+ months
Ability to write custom skills and wire up MCP servers, with demonstrable work
Expert knowledge of modern API design and microservices architecture
Track record of independently taking large, ambiguous problems end to end, including greenfield 0→1 builds and improving complex existing systems
