About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather and analyse business requirements with business stakeholders
- Develop Business Requirements Documents covering business objectives, scope, and requirements
- Collect and compile metrics and data, create reports, and complete analysis
- Analyse data, workflows, and metrics to recommend improvements
- Present findings and recommendations to the business
- Coordinate testing for system enhancements and development
- Ensure knowledge artifacts are appropriately completed
- Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to achieve shared goals
- Support and promote continuous improvement in analytical processes and practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Understanding of all aspects of the systems/software development lifecycle
- Technical knowledge of programming, system design, IT infrastructure, and database concepts
- Appreciation of both IT and business strategy
- Developing knowledge of business process re-engineering
- Proven experience with analysis and automation languages, practices, and toolsets
- Previous Business Analyst experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on moderately difficult assignments, requiring self-directed research and judgment
- Ability to assimilate business context and priorities effectively to build subject matter expertise
- Ability to adhere to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
- Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders and team members
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound technical ability and ability to learn new systems and technology quickly
