Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and maintain robust desktop Standard Operating Environments (SOE) for customers
  • Enable remote support and standardisation across diverse IT landscapes
  • Work closely with customers to transform their businesses using cloud-first productivity and collaboration solutions
  • Support customers’ digital transformation journeys
  • Provide expert advice and develop ongoing processes
  • Drive continuous improvement in customer environments
  • Act as a point of escalation for endpoint engineering matters
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to engineers
  • Respond to changing customer, technology, and internal stakeholder requirements
  • Work independently on competing priorities and as part of a team
  • Manage budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
  • Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Australian Citizen status required
  • Ability to achieve Australian Government Baseline clearance
  • 8 years of IT industry experience
  • Experience in an Endpoint Architect role
  • Strong understanding of enterprise endpoint management solutions, including SCCM, Intune, and JAMF
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows end-user operating system configuration and deployment
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft supporting infrastructure services, including Active Directory, Group Policy, users and computers
  • Experience with AvePoint baseline
  • Understanding of DHCP, DNS, PKI, Print Services, File Services, Exchange, and SharePoint
  • Knowledge of endpoint security technologies, including Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Symantec, and CrowdStrike
  • Strong understanding of VDI and DaaS solutions, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Amazon WorkSpaces, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Windows 365
  • Working knowledge of Patch My PC, Aternity, Ivanti App Control, and Airlock Digital
  • Public cloud exposure, including Azure and AWS
  • Background in traditional on-premises hosting technologies, including vCenter and/or Hyper-V
  • Knowledge of supporting hybrid cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of hardware and software vendor support processes, including product lifecycle
  • Advanced End User Management experience
  • Knowledge of modern and traditional SOE management methodologies
  • Good financial management practices
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills and good judgement
  • Adherence to budget, schedule, work plans, and performance requirements
  • Proven communication and negotiation skills
  • Effective presentation, consultative, and planning skills
