About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure effective delivery of high-quality Hardware Asset Management services
Administer Hardware Asset Management activities daily
Ensure compliance with Datacom and customer HAM policies, processes, and procedures
Ensure delivery teams, customers, and process participants adhere to HAM processes aligned with customer requirements and ITIL Best Practices
Implement and manage the Configuration Management System, including CMDB and AMDB
Maintain asset information in the AMDB/CMDB to deliver IT services
Coordinate hardware lifecycle logistics, including collection, replacement, return, and disposal of laptops
Document, review, update, and publish HAM policies, processes, procedures, work instructions, user guides, and customized appendices
Lead audits and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate data
Provide consulting advice and assist customers in identifying HAM solutions for business requirements
Own end-to-end hardware request management processes and lead regular forums with process participants
Implement processes to ensure all deployed devices are recorded in the HAM tool
Work with internal procurement teams and stakeholders to deliver business requests
Develop and maintain asset management processes and procedures
Monitor and manage HAM process compliance, customer SLAs, KPIs, and health reporting
Escalate and document HAM service risks with SDM and account teams, include them in customer reports, and track them in Customer Operations Risk Registers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in working with ServiceNow
Understanding of end-to-end hardware request and deployment processes
Passion for excellent customer service and willingness to help customers
Strong understanding of process operating frameworks, quality processes and methodologies
Experience creating, documenting, maintaining and implementing policies, processes and procedures
Experience participating in a continuous service improvement plan
Experience participating in a Hardware audit
Ability to analyse large amounts of data in Excel or alternative database software
Strong stakeholder management expertise and ability to drive process improvement across a diverse and heavily matrixed organisation
Experience with Flexera One is an advantage
Experience in Licensing is an advantage
