Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and document complex middleware platforms
Design, build, and implement middleware platforms and systems to agreed specifications
Provide input into high-level and detailed designs
Deliver services on time and to budget
Evaluate customer business needs and contribute to strategic planning
Provide advice, consultancy, and thought leadership to customers
Identify and advise management of potential problems and follow-on business opportunities
Assist with sales proposals
Liaise with customers during preliminary installation and testing
Lead defined projects and mentor team members
Collaborate with customer, technical, business, project management, and vendor stakeholders to deliver outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years' experience in a relevant technical consulting role
Australian Citizen
Active NV1 Security clearance
Experience with DevOps Automation: Azure DevOps, Ansible, GitLab CI-CD, GitHub, Containers, Kubernetes, Puppet, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk
Experience with Enterprise Applications: Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW), Oracle SOA, Oracle Service Bus, Oracle OEDQ, Oracle Intelligent Advisor, AXWAY API Gateway, Oracle e-Business Suite, Oracle BI, Oracle Web Centre, Oracle IAM, Oracle Web ADI, Oracle Discoverer
Experience with WebLogic 12c/14c, Oracle HTTP Server, and Tomcat Apache
Experience with Cassandra DB and Hyperion (Essbase)
Experience with Shell scripting, WLST, Ansible playbooks, Python, Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports
Experience with BI Publisher and virtualization tools
Experience with SOAP/REST web services, JMS/MQ messaging queues, XML, JSON, Java Query, XQuery, XSLT, YAML, and ETL
Experience with OpenSSH, OpenSSL, JKS, Oracle Wallet/PKI, OAuth, proxy, WAF, TLS/SSL, J-Frog Artifactory, Oracle Directory, LDAP, and Oracle Access Manager
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective presentation skills and ability to convey technical information across various levels
Ability to communicate technical concepts and align them with client business goals and objectives
