About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Promote innovation, service, and delivery enhancement with a focus on future sustainability
- Collaborate with internal teams, the wider business, and customers
- Foster vendor relationships supporting Cybersecurity Technical service offerings
- Promote a culture of excellence across Consulting and Operational teams
- Help drive the planning, development, and implementation of Datacom’s Application Security offerings and services
- Provide cybersecurity and connectivity services and solutions, with a focus on Application Security
- Support performance, productivity, development, and sustainability of team members
- Help customers build secure applications and solve cybersecurity challenges
- Lead the Application Security team and act as an outcome advocate
Requirements
What you’ll need- High degree of knowledge of cybersecurity technologies
- Ability to converse with a diverse range of customers
- Experience leading and developing a team of professionals, directly or indirectly
- Experience in an organisation driven by service, delivery, and outcomes
- Technically focused cybersecurity professional qualifications
- Practical working knowledge of DevSecOps
- Knowledge of Application Security best practices such as OWASP
- Strong interest in application security
- At least 7+ years’ experience in cybersecurity, ideally including 5+ years working with Application Security
- Relevant certifications may demonstrate expertise
- Experience as a penetration tester, developer, or security consultant is relevant
- Ability to work in New Zealand
