About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead large, complex data centre and infrastructure projects through the full project lifecycle
  • Define delivery approaches, plans, schedules, resources and governance
  • Manage scope, budget, quality, risks, issues, dependencies and change across concurrent workstreams
  • Build and guide collaborative project teams in complex, multi-platform technical environments
  • Coordinate design, documentation, development, testing and implementation activities
  • Maintain reporting and relationships with customers, senior stakeholders and delivery partners
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis and benefits realisation
  • Develop and manage vendor agreements and third-party relationships
  • Plan and oversee handover of completed projects into operational support

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience leading large or complex technical infrastructure projects
  • Broad understanding of infrastructure technologies and their dependencies
  • Strong project management capability across scope, time, cost, quality, communications, risk, procurement and integration
  • Proven customer and senior stakeholder management experience, including working with third-party vendors
  • Strong financial literacy, including cost estimation, forecasting, budget tracking and reporting
  • Effective leadership, negotiation, influencing, problem-solving and dispute resolution skills
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Science, Engineering, Economics or a related discipline
  • Project Management, PRINCE2, PMI or Agile certification is desirable
