About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with customers to understand needs, translate business requirements and co-design Microsoft 365 solutions
  • Prepare and deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations and workshops
  • Design, configure, build and deploy solutions using SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and Microsoft Purview
  • Deliver project tasks while managing scope, budgets, schedules and deliverables
  • Produce solution designs, configuration guides, recommendation reports and as-built documentation
  • Support architectural governance, peer reviews, risk assessment and technical standards
  • Provide ongoing support within service levels, monitor performance, resolve issues and document incidents
  • Design and support information-management practices including metadata, classification, document control, records management, retention, disposal, data loss prevention and access control
  • Contribute to migration and modernisation activities using ShareGate and AvePoint where appropriate
  • Support Microsoft 365 Copilot use-case discovery and readiness reviews
  • Assist with Copilot demonstrations, workshops and training
  • Contribute to basic Copilot Studio agent configuration, testing and documentation under guidance
  • Build customer capability through demonstrations, training materials, training and knowledge transfer
  • Provide scope and effort estimates for proposals and support presales activities
  • Report progress, escalate issues and risks, and follow service-management and change/release processes
  • Share knowledge and identify automation and AI opportunities
  • Support occasional after-hours project or operational work when required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2–5 years of relevant technical experience in a commercial environment
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and Microsoft Purview
  • Experience designing, building and implementing solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for administration and automation
  • Working knowledge of information management principles, including metadata, classification, records management, retention, information protection and access control
  • Ability to produce solution designs, configuration guides and as-built documentation
  • Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
  • Problem-solving skills and commitment to responsive support and issue resolution
  • Written and verbal communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills
  • Time and priority management, with a track record of delivering work within budgets and schedules
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot for common productivity use cases
  • Understanding of safe prompting, validation of AI-generated outputs and responsible AI use
  • Australian citizenship required
  • Eligibility to undertake a Federal Government NV1 Security Clearance required
  • Australian geography required for residence/work location
  • Nice-to-have qualifications and experience include customer-facing technical consulting, AvePoint, ShareGate, Microsoft 365 backup and archiving, DevOps, SPFx, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, records-management regulations, Copilot Studio agents, ITIL certification, technical writing or presentation training, and a tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
