About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the security architecture and implementation of Bits Code from early design through production operation
Work with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to identify risks and shape the product
Build threat models for new and existing agent risks, including prompt injection
Write and maintain core libraries to help ship secure software quickly
Guide security processes and culture
Collaborate with sandbox teams on executing untrusted workloads in Bits Code
Participate in on-call duties
Shape the architecture, tools, processes, and culture that keep security risk low while helping ship product features quickly

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related scientific field, or at least 5+ years of professional experience
Background in product security, application security, or security architecture
Experience securing systems operating across complex trust boundaries
Experience building and operating full stack systems at scale
Familiarity with security risks in agentic systems and experience designing against them
Ability to make pragmatic security trade-offs
Ability to participate in on-call rotations
