About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support exciting projects in large, sometimes international customer environments
- Take responsibility for client services
- Install notebooks and PCs via Empirum
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Set up VPN connections for notebooks
- Configure DECT phones
- Perform data recovery
- Patch networks
- Set up switches
- Troubleshoot networks
- Reorder, reassign, decommission, and repair defective software
- Relocate users, including client hardware and telephones
- Patch networks or telephones
- Configure user settings, drive mappings, and access permissions in Active Directory
- Support the installation and configuration of mobile device management systems and user accounts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed training as an IT Service Technician or equivalent qualification
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory, networking, remote/VPN access, print servers, SAP, and ITIL
- Knowledge of telephone systems and telecommunications devices (Samsung, Apple, etc.) is desirable
- Strong customer and service orientation
- Careful and systematic approach to work
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- High level of customer focus and willingness to provide service
- Very good German and English skills
