About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

On-site service delivery and support within order and incident management
Supporting users at the IT Service Point
Troubleshooting and supporting IT equipment in meeting rooms
Delivering, installing, repairing, assembling, and upgrading PC systems
Processing incident reports using a ticketing system
Setting up PC systems with the appropriate customer image
Setting up and supporting special devices such as barcode scanners and label printers
Replacing, installing, and documenting network components such as access points and switches
Patching and troubleshooting telecommunications lines
Setting up, dismantling, and relocating PC workstations
Supporting projects related to workplace services

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or a comparable qualification
Initial hands-on technical experience; career changers and entry-level candidates are also welcome
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7/10 and Microsoft Office 2010 or later
Good experience with standard hardware for PC/notebook workstations, particularly HP and Lenovo
Knowledge of telecommunications end devices, including iPhones, iPads, smartphones, and VoIP
Basic knowledge of Active Directory is an advantage
Knowledge of network technologies, remote/VPN access, print servers, and ITIL is desirable
Advanced German language skills and good written and spoken English and/or another foreign language
