About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform HR-related duties at the professional level
- Carry out responsibilities involving employee relations, investigations, and planning and development
- Train and engage managers and employees within the healthcare field
- Partner with employees and management to communicate Human Resources policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws and regulations
- Guide management on performance issues, corrective action plans, and involuntary terminations
- Respond to general employee relations issues
- Create and/or facilitate training events for management and associates
- Assist with job descriptions and perform compensation analysis
- Assist with EEOC/DOL claims and other claims by gathering historical employment and company data
- Assist with OSHA/Safety initiatives and manage safety programs for assigned regions
- Coordinate promotions and staff changes, documentation, and payroll-system processing
- Oversee employee headcount of 500+ people
- Travel up to 15%
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2-4 years experience in Human Resources Management
- 1+ years experience with employee relations
- Strong working knowledge of state and federal regulations as they pertain to the Human Resources field
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word & Excel
- Compensation and job description experience, a plus
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to produce accurate and timely work
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proven success working under minimal supervision
- Experience with Oracle HRIS system, a plus
