About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as strategic communications advisor to leaders on enterprise and departmental communications
- Lead strategy and manage execution of communications advancing Datavant’s employer brand across internal and external channels
- Lead strategy and execution of integration-related communications for employees of acquired companies
- Govern intranet publishing and provide guidance to other departments
- Own editorial strategy and execution of the monthly company newsletter
- Support internal and executive communications in partnership with the Office of the CEO and Chief People Officer
- Develop Town Hall content, manage speakers, and produce events
- Develop and execute communications strategies for People/HR campaigns and internal organizational changes
- Support the internal incident/crisis management team with employee communications about operational risks
- Guide and support the Communications Specialist in developing materials promoting talent, culture, and values
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of public relations and communications experience, including experience in-house at a mid- to large-sized company
- Experience leading or supporting internal communications programs and initiatives
- Strong understanding of internal communications best practices
- Experience securing earned media coverage and working directly with journalists, or professional journalism experience
- Proven track record developing and executing multi-stakeholder communications programs
- Experience using AI for content creation and interest in leveraging AI to improve communications planning, processes, and workflows
- Strong business, creative, and editorial writing skills
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- Must be eligible to work in the United States; this job is not eligible for employment sponsorship
