About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Independently manage complex, medium- to large-scale projects and programs throughout the full implementation lifecycle
  • Implement new products and services associated with Release of Information
  • Manage assigned projects in the Project Management Tracking Tool and maintain accurate project records
  • Maintain accountability for projects and programs within the Client Impact portfolio
  • Lead complex, large-scale, and high-profile implementation projects from initiation through stabilization and handoff
  • Coordinate programs consisting of multiple related projects and manage dependencies across workstreams
  • Collaborate with business teams, IT groups, clients, external vendors, Operations, and other project managers
  • Apply project management methodologies and ensure accurate, consistent, high-quality deliverables
  • Identify, document, manage, and resolve project and program risks and issues
  • Facilitate recurring meetings and provide updates on status, milestones, risks, decisions, changes, and timelines
  • Coordinate post-go-live support, monitor stabilization, assist with issue resolution, and support transition to ongoing operations
  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention, self-sufficiency, and profitability

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant professional experience may be considered
  • Minimum of five years of experience in project or program management and client-facing service delivery
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent projects or programs
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
  • Experience using project or portfolio management platforms
  • Proficiency in process development, continuous improvement, and problem-solving
  • Comprehensive understanding of Health Information Management within acute care, ambulatory, and clinic settings
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and drive projects through completion
  • Experience developing and maintaining project roadmaps, schedules, and portfolio-level reporting
  • Strong presentation, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to lead complex projects, coordinate cross-functional resources, and support effective decision-making and planning
  • Must be eligible to work without employment sponsorship
