About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide professional support to Lawyer Recruiting Managers, focusing on partner recruiting activity
  • Assist with lateral attorney hiring and integration
  • Prepare interview schedules and disseminate interview details to candidates and search firms
  • Greet candidates virtually or in person and monitor interviews
  • Prepare offer letters and regret communications
  • Prepare due diligence actions, including background checks, reference checks, and conflicts communication
  • Assist with lateral attorney sourcing using LinkedIn and Leopard List
  • Update candidate activity in viRecruit and activity charts
  • Prepare hiring reports
  • Communicate with third-party recruiters regarding search agreements, candidate submissions, and candidate status
  • Conduct market research and support projects to enhance recruiting efforts
  • Participate in professional organizations including NALSC, NALP, and local legal recruiting groups
  • Provide integration support for lateral attorney hires with firm management
  • Prepare conflicts and Intapp reports and hand them off to Practice Group Managers
  • Enter applicant information into viRecruit and maintain the applicant database
  • Track data for reporting initiatives
  • Prepare check requests and reimbursements
  • Process incoming mail and correspondence
  • Reserve conference rooms, order lunches, and make restaurant reservations
  • Handle details for miscellaneous events and department functions
  • Track referral bonus activity
  • Assist with projects as they arise

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Prior administrative experience in a law firm or other professional services setting is required, preferably in attorney recruiting
  • Understanding of the attorney recruiting life cycle
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to be adaptive and agile
  • Ability to coordinate and facilitate project plans to completion
  • Strong professional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with various levels of employees and managers to complete tasks in a timely manner and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with Microsoft product suite and viRecruit
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong process analysis and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to coordinate multiple assignments and adjust to shifting priorities
  • Ability to work in-person from the office at least three days each week
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, service-oriented environment
  • Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Must adhere to schedules by being timely on breaks, lunches, and meetings
