About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and implement DBV’s U.S. trade channel strategy, including specialty pharmacy network architecture, specialty distributor relationships, and limited distribution model framework
  • Lead contracting negotiations with specialty pharmacies and hub service providers
  • Develop and manage gross-to-net assumptions, chargeback processes, returns policy, and inventory management practices with Finance, Legal, and Market Access
  • Establish trade analytics capabilities covering sell-in/sell-through reporting, inventory tracking, and demand forecasting
  • Partner with Supply Chain to maintain third-party logistics relationships and oversee biologics patch-product handling requirements
  • Build and oversee the end-to-end VIASKIN Peanut patient support program, including co-pay assistance, free drug, patient assistance programs, benefits investigation, prior authorization support, and appeals navigation
  • Select, contract, and manage a hub services vendor; establish KPIs, SLAs, and escalation protocols
  • Develop patient onboarding, adherence, and re-engagement programs for caregivers managing pediatric food allergy
  • Partner with Market Access to align payer coverage policies with patient services program design
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Regulatory on compliant patient-services materials and communications
  • Build, lead, and develop a Field Reimbursement Manager team
  • Define team structure, territories, and coverage models
  • Serve as trade and patient services lead on the U.S. launch readiness team, owning timelines, milestones, and readiness reviews
  • Recruit trade operations, patient services, field reimbursement, and analytics talent as the organization scales
  • Partner with Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, and Finance for integrated commercial execution
  • Represent DBV with trade partners, patient advocacy organizations, and industry groups
  • Establish governance and compliance frameworks for trade and patient-support operations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 15+ years of biotech/pharma Market Access experience with prior leadership roles in Trade & Patient Services
  • Direct line team leadership experience
  • Experience with trade and channel operations, including customer relations, contract negotiations, and distribution channel policy development
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. access environment, including distributors, pharmacies, reimbursement/co-pay support services, payer coverage, pricing, patient support programs, and field reimbursement specialists
  • Working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and prescription drug distribution process in a large healthcare organization or prescription drug vendor
  • Experience in pediatric, allergy/immunology, or biologics/patch product categories
  • Prior leadership experience at a late-stage or launch-stage biotech or specialty pharmaceutical company
  • Familiarity with first-in-class or novel delivery mechanism market entry
  • Direct experience building or launching specialty pharmacy networks and limited distribution models
  • Hands-on hub design, vendor management, and patient support program experience
  • Strong understanding of U.S. specialty reimbursement, GTN accounting, and payer landscape
  • Understanding of reimbursement methodologies used by commercial and government payers under pharmacy benefits
  • Track record of launching a specialty or rare disease product in the U.S.
  • Experience managing and developing cross-functional or direct-report teams
  • Background building hub services capabilities from the ground up
  • Comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast-paced, pre-commercial environment
  • Ability to articulate clearly and conduct verbal presentations with large and small audiences
  • Ability to travel via automobile and/or airplane
  • Ability to view video display terminal images less than 18 inches away for up to four hours at a time
  • Ability to operate a computer keyboard and telephone
  • Ability to sit for up to four hours at a time
  • Ability to lift, tug, or pull up to 15 pounds
