About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as operational guardian of the physical product from warehouse to patient
Oversee 3PL operations and product integrity
Drive accountability of forecast accuracy and align commercial sales forecasts with supply chain execution
Ensure product availability while minimizing inventory waste
Oversee commercial, samples, and demo product distribution operations
Manage daily operational relationships with 3PLs and conduct performance reviews against KPIs and SLAs
Lead the S&OP process and facilitate consensus between commercial and supply chain teams
Capture and communicate market insights, trends, and priorities
Manage safety stock and minimize trapped working capital while preventing stockouts
Lead demand, inventory, and replenishment planning
Monitor product expiry and batch-level data to minimize obsolescence and write-offs
Direct continuous improvement of planning processes
Oversee order management, inventory control, and forward/reverse logistics
Oversee customs trade compliance and GDP compliance
Monitor shipment temperature data and investigate excursions
Oversee serialized data transmission compliance
Manage carrier network performance
Ensure 3PL distribution centers remain audit-ready
Contribute to IT solution design and implementation for downstream operations
Escalate business-critical decisions to top management
Deliver customer service levels, product availability, optimized cost to serve, forecast accuracy, and optimized finished-product stock levels

Requirements

What you’ll need

6-10 years of experience in warehousing & distribution operations
At least 2 years in sales and operations / demand planning
At least 3 years in the pharmaceutical industry
Good knowledge of DSCSA and serialization requirements
Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt preferred
Experience with 3PL management is essential
Expertise in ERP systems (MS-Dynamics, SAP, Oracle)
Expertise in MS-Excel and Excel based modeling
Ability to challenge decisions with data / data driven models
