About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Facilitate team-level Agile ceremonies (Retrospective, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Sprint Planning, and Backlog Refinement).
  • Integrate Agile best practices and standards.
  • Participate in working meetings, including occasional meetings with business areas, to gain immersion in and progressively develop knowledge of the business segment.
  • Foster a sense of shared accountability among teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify and address department- and team-level impediments, engaging with the relevant processes and people from the beginning through to the completion of the solution.
  • Promote a continuous improvement mindset and practices within Agile teams.
  • Coach the team on Lean-Agile values and principles.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner on short-term planning and on evolving the product backlog definition and prioritization.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience working on IT projects.
  • Experience with different models, metrics, and team-level Agile ceremonies.
  • Knowledge of Agile methods and practices beyond Scrum, such as Kanban and XP.
  • Previous experience with ServiceNow, Microsoft Azure, and Jira.
  • PMI-ACP, PMI-DASM, PMI-DASSM, and/or Scrum Master certification.
  • Kanban certification.
  • Management 3.0 certification.
  • Familiarity with the Waterfall methodology.
  • Familiarity with portfolio management.
