About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver comprehensive product training and clinical support
  • Drive sales growth within an assigned geographic territory
  • Conduct on-site training for dental practice customers and prospective customers on intraoral scanning and dental laboratory technologies
  • Guide customers toward using DDS Lab for laboratory business
  • Demonstrate the value of DDS Lab services and promote products to increase usage
  • Identify new DSO opportunities and grow existing DSO accounts with Clinical Office Specialists leadership
  • Follow up on education and sales needs by phone, email, or in person
  • Establish professional relationships with dental assistants, office managers, dentists, and key contacts
  • Submit weekly client activity and call reports to the Director of Clinical Office Specialists
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and initiatives in the assigned territory
  • Conduct product training sessions at client locations, including Lunch-and-Learns, evening programs, regional meetings, and DSO annual meetings
  • Prepare a monthly territory training forecast
  • Record training activity and client contact information in HubSpot
  • Use appropriate PPE and follow infection-control and sterilization protocols
  • Stay current on dental-industry trends, product innovation, and best practices
  • Participate in sales meetings and strategy sessions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of intraoral digital technology and implants
  • Strong aptitude and comfort level observing and advising on dental implant procedures and use of intraoral digital technology
  • Ability to present information, communicate, and respond to questions clearly and persuasively
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional documents in English
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask, use personal judgment, and make decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Previous dental experience in a lab or dental office required
  • High level of technical and material knowledge of dental products
  • 3–5 years of outside sales experience in dental or medical devices, or in-office clinical experience as an RDA or RDH
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in dental technology, dental hygiene, or related field preferred
  • Dependable car for company travel
  • Valid driver's license with no significant violations or points
  • Willingness to travel frequently, up to 80%, to customer locations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
