About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute assigned data science projects with defined scope, delivering accurate and timely results
Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models, including regression, classification, clustering, and forecasting
Apply analytical methods to defined problems, datasets, and evaluation criteria
Use notebooks and interactive development environments to explore data, prototype models, and validate approaches
Interpret model outputs and translate findings into actionable stakeholder insights
Use AI tools and large language models for analysis, code generation, and research
Apply prompt engineering techniques and assist in building AI-enabled workflows
Contribute to data science products, models, pipelines, and reporting
Support model training, evaluation, and output generation workflows
Document data science processes, model assumptions, and system behavior
Generate regular reporting and analysis for product performance monitoring
Clean, transform, and prepare structured and unstructured datasets
Write SQL and Python transformations and work with Snowflake and dbt workflows
Assist in developing and maintaining data pipelines
Perform exploratory data analysis
Follow version control, documentation, testing, and software development best practices
Write maintainable and testable code and participate in code reviews
Develop proficiency in Python and use R where appropriate
Use data science libraries and frameworks including scikit-learn, pandas, and numpy
Gain familiarity with Docker and deployment concepts
Communicate progress and findings with team members and stakeholders
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, and business partners
Build business acumen and support data-driven decision-making
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
0–2 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles OR advanced degree
Strong foundational programming skills in Python; familiarity with R is a plus
Basic understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning concepts
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational data systems
Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, or modern data platforms is a plus
Exposure to version control practices (Git) and development workflows
Familiarity with data science libraries such as scikit-learn and pandas is a plus
Exposure to AI tools and prompt engineering concepts is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency
Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to learn
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
Travel as necessary, less than 10%
