About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, create and maintain translation maps, application programs, batch scripts and integration points
  • Perform system configuration, mapping, testing and management for EDI/Integration-based transactions and processes
  • Coordinate with network engineering, application development and database administration to ensure EDI system availability, reliability and scalability
  • Research and recommend enhancements for core Integration systems
  • Coordinate implementation and communication of EDI and Integration systems, including document receiving, delivery, tracking, process audits, document mapping, service providers and integration points
  • Maintain and properly execute EDI-related production and procedures, including development, change requests and enterprise integration projects
  • Provide EDI and integration-point customer support to trading partners, business users, service providers and IT staff
  • Troubleshoot errors and recommend and implement modifications to improve efficiency, reliability and performance
  • Monitor EDI/Integration files and system health; take corrective action and report incidents
  • Participate in design/code reviews, unit tests, integrated system tests and user acceptance tests
  • Establish and implement policies, procedures and technologies for EDI/Integration system security
  • Develop and maintain EDI process documentation, training materials and systems documentation
  • Manage project tasks, document scope and requirements, and develop training materials
  • Analyze, document and model current and improved business workflow processes
  • Document and communicate business requirements to Information Technology staff
  • Collaborate on IT projects, audits and controls, trading partner enrollment and ongoing customer/vendor/third-party relationships
  • Develop user acceptance test objectives, test plans and test scripts
  • Review technical analysis, designs, test scripts and results
  • Track requirements and facilitate requirements changes using change management procedures
  • Provide timely and accurate time and status reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree required and/or equivalent business experience
  • Knowledge of various file types and usage (X12, EDIFACT, XML, CSV, Flat Files)
  • Experience with programming languages and techniques (Java, Python, Scripting)
  • EDI/Integration translations and implementation background
  • EDI document background: 810, 850, 856
  • Knowledge of various communication methods (FTP, SFTP, AS2, web services, etc.)
  • Demonstration of developing improved processes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage in a fast-paced environment to meet business needs/deadlines and adhere to project schedules with minimal supervision
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening before beginning work
