About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, implement, and execute strategic plans optimizing sales, market share, and revenue growth for brands
  • Analyze brand opportunities using market research, industry trends, competitive intelligence, customer insights, and therapeutic-area knowledge
  • Develop data-driven marketing strategies with return on investment and adjust strategies based on analytical insights
  • Lead change during product updates, regulatory shifts, or market disruptions
  • Manage brand strategy operations and execute all 6Ps: Product, Price, Promotion, Placement, POP, and Protocol
  • Drive product-strategy execution with internal and external cross-functional teams
  • Serve as the Voice of the Customer by capturing feedback from veterinarians, consumers, and retail partners
  • Develop customer- and channel-specific marketing strategies using customer marketing channels and co-promotion partners
  • Gather feedback from sales, corporate accounts, and retail teams to identify product-line, SKU, collateral, and educational-material needs
  • Coordinate market research to identify penetration and growth opportunities, including competitor analysis
  • Help manage the marketing budget to achieve financial targets
  • Participate in national and regional veterinary conferences and coordinate activities to maximize event value

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Thorough understanding of marketing business processes and fundamentals
  • At least 5 years of previous Product Marketing, Field Sales, or relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a Marketing/Product-specific role
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience in the animal health sector preferred
  • Digital marketing proficiency
  • Proven work experience in a similar role
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize large datasets, including sales performance, market research, and financial forecasting
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term product strategies aligned with business objectives, market trends, and customer needs
  • Ability to thrive in the role
  • Ability to navigate regulatory, technical, and legal processes effectively
  • Effective change management and leadership skills
