About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage projects from initiation through completion
  • Work with project sponsors, senior stakeholders, subject matter experts and delivery teams to define objectives and plans
  • Coordinate project activities, timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks and issues
  • Provide clear progress updates throughout the project lifecycle
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones and success measures
  • Prepare and maintain project plans, resource plans, RAID logs, status reports and other project documentation
  • Ensure clear roles and responsibilities and consistent project governance
  • Lead project meetings, workshops and planning sessions
  • Manage stakeholder communication and provide regular reporting to project sponsors
  • Escalate risks or decisions where appropriate
  • Monitor performance against schedule, budget, scope and quality requirements
  • Identify practical solutions and manage dependencies to keep delivery on track
  • Support change management, implementation and transition activities to ensure outcomes are adopted and embedded

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Successfully completed a relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Significant experience in project management, programme delivery, business transformation or a related role
  • Experience managing projects from initiation through implementation and closure
  • Experience developing project plans, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, issue logs and progress reports
  • Familiarity with recognised project management methodologies and tools
  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, hybrid delivery or continuous improvement approaches is advantageous
  • Experience managing project risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes and competing priorities
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, stakeholder influence and meeting/workshop facilitation skills
  • Organised, pragmatic and able to make sound decisions in a changing environment
  • Confidence using project management, collaboration and reporting tools
  • Excellent command of English, verbally and in writing
