About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare for the anticipated launch of tirabrutinib, a BTK inhibitor for relapsed or refractory primary central nervous system lymphoma
  • Lead a regional sales team for the East region
  • Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with organizational strategy
  • Analyze market dynamics, customer segments, and business performance
  • Identify customer needs and align organizational resources
  • Provide strategic input to commercial planning and field execution strategies
  • Develop data-driven business performance assessments and recommendations
  • Lead team execution to achieve or exceed business objectives
  • Ensure effective CRM use for customer engagement, progress tracking, and performance optimization
  • Partner with Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Training, and other stakeholders
  • Optimize territory alignment, customer targeting, and field activities
  • Ensure completion of administrative and compliance activities
  • Coach, provide feedback to, and manage sales team performance
  • Establish performance expectations and implement targeted development plans
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or related discipline
  • 12+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • 3+ years of front-line malignant hematology sales experience
  • 5+ years of experience in malignant hematology or oncology sales leadership roles
  • Experience recruiting, organizing, developing, and retaining a cohesive, high-performing sales team
  • Proven track record of delivering results in competitive, complex environments
  • Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and inform business strategy
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional partners
  • Strong communication, leadership presence, and interpersonal skills
  • Preferred: Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MPH, PharmD, PhD)
  • Preferred: Oncology or specialty pharmaceutical experience
  • Preferred: Experience in rare disease and/or complex, access-driven markets
  • Preferred: Experience supporting or building commercial capabilities
  • Preferred: Strong understanding of the full commercial ecosystem
