About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- DJ and host a live lip sync battle performed karaoke style
- Intermingle performances with popular K-Pop tunes throughout the event
- Create an upbeat, fun environment that encourages participation and keeps guests entertained
- Provide and set up backline and basic tech equipment, including a handheld microphone and tablet on a tripod
- Troubleshoot basic technology
- Assist with cleanup and ensure all materials are cleaned and appropriately packed after the event
- Travel to gigs by car or air as required
- Work shows lasting 1–2 days, including travel time, with possible daytime, evening, and weekend schedules
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 1 year of live DJ performance experience with required K-pop genre familiarity
- Comfortable using a microphone and being the center of attention
- Professional, reliable, and able to travel for events
- Able to independently lead, manage time, and adapt on the fly
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must possess a Real ID / valid Driver's License
- Prior experience in public speaking or leading large groups
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to stand, dance, and speak for extended periods
- Comfortable with light physical setup and breakdown duties
- Ability to set up and operate basic tech
- Outgoing, friendly, and confident leading a crowd
- Time-efficient and comfortable working independently
