About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform record-by-record reconciliation, aggregate totals validation, and exception identification during the PeopleSoft-to-Workday migration
Refine data crosswalks showing PeopleSoft field equivalents, data type conversions, formula translations, and Workday FDM integration points
Identify data quality issues, unmapped fields, transformation failures, and process deviations between legacy and target systems
Review and validate PeopleSoft budget data integration into Workday through the Financial Data Model
Document validation findings and remediation steps
Prepare validation reports with exception logs, root cause analysis, and recommended corrective actions
Work with other teams to identify and solve issues
Support UAT and sign-off activities
Collaborate with Budget team members and project stakeholders to validate reconciliation results and certify readiness for go-live
Perform duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Senior/Expert level with 7+ years of experience
84 months of experience developing and executing data extraction and transformation processes for Budget and Finance
84 months of experience optimizing SQL queries, Application Engine, and SQR scripts for efficient data migration
84 months of experience mapping PeopleSoft data fields to Workday equivalents and resolving inconsistencies
84 months of experience implementing ETL tools and validating data accuracy post-migration
84 months of experience collaborating with functional teams and Workday consultants for seamless transition
84 months of experience developing and maintaining clear and consistent documentation for data and conversion processes and procedures
84 months of experience working collaboratively with technical teams including PeopleSoft, Workday, database administrators, and cybersecurity analysts
Experience with MS Platform including Outlook, Teams, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word, Tumbleweed, VDI, ORACLE Products, PeopleSoft, and Workday
