About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own integration delivery from scoping to launch, including requirements, dependencies, technical constraints, planning, testing, rollout, and follow-up
- Deliver POS, payment, hardware, and partner API integrations
- Configure and adapt integrations, map data between systems, validate API flows, and onboard partner solutions
- Make changes to configuration, mappings, scripts, and lightweight integration code
- Use AI-assisted development to investigate systems, draft or adapt code, debug problems, create tests, and document changes
- Review and validate AI-generated work for correctness, security, and reliability
- Investigate escalated integration issues from Customer Operations
- Reproduce problems, inspect logs and API behavior, identify root causes, and coordinate fixes through verification
- Coordinate Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, and external developers on decisions, owners, dependencies, and next steps
- Plan and run integration tests, confirm fixes, support deployments and pilots, and track post-launch issues
- Maintain technical documentation, configuration details, version history, known issues, and rollout status
- Improve monitoring, tooling, automation, reusable patterns, and delivery measures
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5+ years of experience in technical project management, implementation, solution delivery, or a similar cross-functional technical role
- At least 2 years of hands-on software development experience, ideally with backend systems or integrations
- Strong understanding of APIs, SaaS systems, and data exchange between connected platforms
- Comfortable debugging, testing, and implementing technical changes independently
- Practical experience using AI coding or development tools in real work
- Ability to review and validate AI-generated output
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to explain technical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Highly organized, analytical, and proactive
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities
- Ability to collaborate across Product, Operations, Engineering, QA, and external partners
- Willingness to occasionally join partner or customer meetings and deployments
- Bonus: experience with POS or payment integrations, including MCR, Adyen, FreedomPay, Stripe, or Kanpla
- Bonus: familiarity with .NET, SQL, scripting, Postman, or lightweight backend implementation
- Bonus: experience in a startup, scale-up, fintech, retail-tech, or payments environment
- Bonus: experience onboarding partners or delivering integrations across different markets
- Bonus: proficiency in French or German
- Legal right to work in Hungary
