Key responsibilities & impact

Build Agentforce custom invocable Apex actions, prompt templates, and grounding logic
Build Apex REST services and use GraphQL/Connect APIs
Implement OAuth 2.0 flows, including JWT bearer, client credentials, and refresh token rotation
Build the Salesforce delivery pipeline using SFDX, source-tracked development, scratch orgs, and automated Apex test execution
Work with stakeholders, project leads, and PMs to refine requirements, identify risks and dependencies, and translate objectives into solutions
Document and review architecture diagrams, API documentation, and runbooks with the platform lead
Use AI tooling while understanding and reviewing all merged code
Deploy changes through DevOps Center with approval gates
Diagnose production issues using logs, debug logs, Event Monitoring, and data
Track project development in Azure DevOps and support tickets in Jira Service Management
Support Salesforce systems for Customer Support, Customer Experience, and Professional Services organizations
Integrate Salesforce with NetSuite, Gainsight, Jira Service Management, and the broader enterprise stack

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years building on the Salesforce platform with hands-on Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components
API development experience on Salesforce: custom Apex REST/SOAP services, Connect REST API, or GraphQL
Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0 on Salesforce, including connected apps, JWT bearer and client credentials flows, and Named/External Credentials
Asynchronous Apex, including Queueable, Batch, and Platform Events
Practical fluency with governor limits, bulkification, and query performance
Secure coding on Salesforce: CRUD/FLS enforcement, Apex sharing model, SOQL injection prevention, CORS, and CSP Trusted Sites configuration
Source-driven development with SFDX and Git
Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems through middleware or direct API
Clear written communication for design docs, API specs, and explanations for non-developer stakeholders
Alternative paths: 3 years of related experience with a Master’s degree; or a PhD without required experience; or equivalent experience
JavaScript framework experience with React, Next.js, or similar is desirable
Familiarity with Service Cloud and Salesforce Knowledge is desirable
Familiarity with Experience Cloud, including LWR sites, custom LWCs, external user licenses, sharing sets, and guest user access is desirable
Familiarity with the Certinia PSA data model is desirable
Middleware experience with Boomi or MuleSoft is desirable
Exposure to a SOX-regulated or otherwise audited environment is desirable
Must not require any type of U.S. work authorization now or in the future
