About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support and help scale accounting activities in support of company growth
Play a key role in the month-end close process by owning assigned close areas
Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with fluctuation analysis and other analyses to enhance financial reporting controls
Maintain and strengthen internal controls over financial reporting
Document processes and ensure consistent, repeatable execution across the close cycle
Partner with FP&A, AP, Payroll, International Accounting, and Tax teams to ensure accurate and timely close
Assist with external and statutory audit requests
Support ad hoc projects, including system implementations, process improvements, and integration of acquired entities
Identify opportunities to improve close efficiency, accuracy, and scalability

Requirements

What you’ll need

A bachelor’s degree in accounting
Minimum of four (4) years’ accounting experience in a combined corporate environment and large public accounting firm
At least one year of experience within a corporate accounting team working on month-end close
Demonstrated experience owning full-cycle close processes
CPA or CPA candidate
Strong technical and analytical skills, including knowledge of US GAAP
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and lookups
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Ability to take ownership of responsibilities and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with NetSuite or a similar large ERP
Experience with close management software such as FloQast or BlackLine
Experience in the Technology/SaaS industry is a plus
