About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support day-to-day sourcing activities across assigned direct material categories
Coordinate with Supply Planning, Engineering, Operations, Accounts Payable, and warehouse leads
Assist with RFQ preparation, quote compilation, and bid analysis
Follow up on purchase order acknowledgments, delivery confirmations, and invoice matching issues
Manage Purchasing Info Records and related data in SAP S/4HANA
Generate PIR, source list, and contract coverage reports
Manage Quality Notifications and coordinate root-cause and corrective actions
Manage GR/IR reporting, open purchase orders, past-due confirmations, and invoice receipt
Drive procurement data cleanup activities and resolve discrepancies
Compile spend, delivery, supplier performance, and category data for dashboards and executive reporting
Run and interpret S/4 Fiori procurement dashboards
Support supplier onboarding in SAP Ariba or S/4
Compile cost tracking, savings documentation, and value engineering data
Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned suppliers
Monitor supplier delivery performance and escalate delays or quality concerns
Assist with supplier performance scorecards and quarterly business review materials
Participate in procurement process improvement initiatives
Pursue ongoing development of procurement knowledge, SAP skills, and supply chain best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years, or HS/GED and 7 years in Supply Chain
Must be 18 years of age or older
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA purchasing processes
Experience using SAP Ariba for sourcing, contracting, or supplier interactions
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to interpret technical specifications
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Experience supporting direct materials, MRO, engineered parts, or industrial supply categories
Familiarity with supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and RFQ/RFP processes
