About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, document, and implement software solutions aligned with project requirements and business goals
- Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders and participate in Agile ceremonies
- Conduct bug investigations and verification tasks
- Participate in technical design meetings and contribute to solution and product design
- Research and develop solutions for problems identified by QA or Support
- Write secure code according to best practices, including familiarity with OWASP vulnerabilities and solutions
- Understand CI/CD build and deployment strategies
- Conduct unit and integration testing for functionality, security, and limits
- Continuously improve coding skills and learn development best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4 years experience as a software engineer or technical software analyst
- Strong foundation in programming fundamentals and computer science concepts
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as .NET, REACT, C#, or SQL Database programming
- Familiarity with CI-CD pipeline development
- Familiarity with code-assist development tools like Microsoft Co-pilot
- Familiarity with code validation systems like SonarQube
- Familiarity with Cloud-based engineering (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience in payments, fintech application development (preferred)
- Familiarity with AI-enabled developer tools, agentic workflows, and MCP (preferred)
- Familiarity with payment concepts such as authorization, capture, settlement, tokenization, vaulting, and recurring payments (preferred)
