Key responsibilities & impact

Work collaboratively with all Revenue Cycle functional areas to maximize revenues
Handle inbound calls regarding insurance-related inquiries from patients, field staff, and insurance carriers
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries
Maintain records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints
Communicate and coordinate with coworkers to resolve customer complaints
Provide feedback on customer service process efficiency to People Leaders
Review and mail patient statements
Process small balance write-offs to ensure accurate patient statements
Provide professional customer support and ensure customer satisfaction
Communicate credit card payment updates to the Cash Applications Team
Contact patients regarding coordination of benefits issues and explain resolutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED
1–3 years’ experience in customer service, preferably in medical field
Excellent communication skills
Accuracy in posting numbers
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Strong computer skills
Significant experience using Excel and Word
Self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
