About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Select, develop, write and edit information and materials for organizational print, electronic and broadcast publications for external and internal company communications
Draft internal company newsletters and posts for the company TV system and present them for approval
Finalize publications upon approval
Monitor and address issues with the internal TV system
Select and supervise outside vendors used for print or media design
Assist senior staff with public relations efforts, including press releases, press conference speeches, trade show/event talking points, company and product fact sheets, and other literature
Represent the company during community projects, gatherings and media events
Refer complex questions to more senior staff
Act as an internal communications consultant to other departments
Collaborate with Digital Marketing specialists on website, radio, TV and other communications
Collaborate with Tradeshow specialists before, during and after events
Complete special projects as directed by department management
Mentor less experienced professionals
Support continuous improvement activities
Perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in communications, business, marketing or related field
3+ Years of Related Experience
Experience in graphic design and photography
Strong written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
Good customer service skills
Good problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to address customer issues and partner on resolutions
Good analytical skills
Good negotiation skills and ability to resolve situations while making a point firmly and seeking a positive outcome for both sides
Strong competency in MS Office software such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel
General knowledge of the automotive industry
Basic project management skills
Kaizen mindset
