About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own IT Security Operations end to end at getolo
- Run and continuously improve the SIEM, including log-source onboarding, detection rules, tuning and alert quality
- Automate orchestration and response with SOAR
- Operate endpoint protection across the company fleet
- Triage and manage alerts through closure or escalation
- Lead incident management from detection through containment, recovery and post-incident review
- Detect and remediate configuration drift against hardening baselines and run technical audits
- Oversee vulnerability scanning, prioritisation and remediation tracking with IT and engineering
- Plan and coordinate internal and external penetration tests and drive remediation
- Contribute to security best practices and standards for infrastructure, endpoints, identity and SaaS
- Provide security design input to new systems and projects
- Advise IT, engineering and the wider business on security
- Feed operational insights into security policies, the risk register and control design
- Support internal and external audits through evidence collection and remediation of findings
- Contribute to security awareness training
- Support third-party and vendor security assessments
- Provide operational input for management reporting on security posture, KPIs and incidents
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years in security operations, SOC, blue team or a comparable hands-on security role
- Hands-on SIEM experience, including log source onboarding, detection writing and tuning, and investigations
- Knowledge of SOAR orchestration and response
- Solid experience with EDR and MDM-managed macOS and Windows endpoint fleets
- Practical incident response experience and ability to lead incidents
- Vulnerability management experience from scanning through remediation, including penetration-test coordination
- Working knowledge of ISO 27001 or comparable frameworks, including Grundschutz, NIST CSF, CIS Controls or DORA
- Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell and Unix shell
- Ability to explain risk to non-security stakeholders and write for management
- Experience with cloud-first SaaS and PaaS technology stacks
- Fluent English
