About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead preparation and review of Forms 10-Q, 10-K, earnings support materials, and other SEC filings
Ensure external reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with SEC regulations and U.S. GAAP
Evaluate new and unusual transactions and business changes for financial statement and disclosure implications
Coordinate reporting deliverables across Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Investor Relations
Lead preparation and analysis of the statement of cash flows and related disclosures
Support Disclosure Committee and Audit Committee reporting materials
Monitor emerging accounting and reporting developments and assess their impact
Partner with business and finance leaders on accounting implications of significant transactions and initiatives
Prepare and review technical accounting analyses and position papers
Drive improvements in reporting processes, controls, and documentation
Support finance transformation initiatives, including reporting and systems enhancements
Support sustainability and ESG-related disclosures
Partner with internal and external auditors on quarterly reviews, annual audits, and SOX compliance
Coach and develop team members

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Active CPA required
6+ years of progressive accounting, financial reporting, or public accounting experience
Big Four public accounting experience strongly preferred
Experience preparing and reviewing SEC filings for a publicly traded company
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and financial statement preparation
Ability to assess, analyze, and document accounting positions
Experience with Workiva strongly preferred
Experience with SAP, Oracle FCCS, HFM, EPM, or similar financial reporting systems preferred
Strong SEC reporting and financial statement disclosure expertise
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Proven ability to collaborate and influence across functions and organizational levels
High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail
Commitment to continuous learning, process improvement, and operational excellence
