About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on leading cloud providers
Ensure high availability, reliability, scalability, and robust security
Assist in designing cost-effective solutions and services
Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code and configuration management
Monitor and optimise cloud resource utilisation for performance and cost-effectiveness
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines
Automate application build, testing, and deployment processes
Automate patching, updates, and backups
Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
Monitor system performance using modern monitoring tools
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in cloud and application environments
Assist in restoring normal operations
Implement disaster recovery and backup solutions
Support internal and external customers with technical issues
Apply cloud security best practices and support compliance requirements
Work closely with development, operations, QA, and security teams
Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing
Contribute to improving processes and DevOps best practices
Document solutions, processes, and tools
Engage in continuous improvement through the company's internal education program

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with leading cloud providers
Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code and configuration management using Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep, or similar tools
Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar tools
Knowledge of cloud resource monitoring and optimisation
Experience with application build, testing, and deployment automation
Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions
Experience troubleshooting cloud and application environments
Knowledge of disaster recovery and backup solutions
Knowledge of identity management, network security, and data security
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
Ability to collaborate with development, operations, QA, and security teams
Ability to provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing
Ability to document solutions, processes, and tools of high quality
