About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure enterprise integration solutions and pipelines
- Lead technical design and development of integration workflows across multiple systems using APIs and connectors
- Develop and manage API-led and event-driven integrations and automations
- Develop and optimize data transformation and data integration workflows
- Build end-to-end system integrations, data workflows, and platform integration workflows
- Design workflows for high-volume, scaled usage with multi-tenancy and client data separation
- Lead and mentor integration, workflow, and API developers
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and development tasks
- Drive solution design discussions and act as technical SME
- Design secure integrations with authentication, token validation, authorization, and role-based access
- Integrate AI and Gen-AI capabilities, including Azure OpenAI, vision, and multimodal models
- Process and automate consumer and audience data for AI-driven use cases
- Develop scalable Node.js/NestJS microservices using TypeScript
- Integrate REST APIs, enterprise services, and third-party platforms through orchestration layers
- Build GraphQL federated graphs, sub-graphs, routers, REST/GraphQL APIs, and schemas
- Manage API lifecycle and governance, including performance, scalability, and versioning
- Work with MongoDB Atlas and Azure Cosmos DB
- Build integrations using Kafka, Azure Service Bus, queues, topics, and messaging patterns
- Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, QA/QE, DevOps, and business teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Ensure quality through code reviews, testing, and documentation
- Enforce integration design, logging, monitoring, resiliency, security, and data governance best practices
- Identify delivery risks and define mitigation strategies
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8–12 years of experience
- Strong hands-on experience in enterprise integration and cloud-based integration workflow development
- Proven experience leading integration or platform engineering teams
- Deep understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API-led architecture, and event-driven systems
- Intelligent workflow automation using n8n (Node-mation), Node-based automation tools, Azure Logic Apps, data integration, and systems integration
- API orchestration and enterprise integration across REST APIs, GraphQL, and Federated Graph
- Bespoke API design and development
- Microservices development using NestJS, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Azure Cloud Services expertise, including Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Service Bus
- Kafka, message queues, topics, and messaging patterns
- AI integration using Azure OpenAI, AI models, and intelligent automation frameworks
- Data pipelines, workflows, transformations, and processing
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases, including MongoDB Atlas
- Ability to work independently, drive initiatives, and solve complex problems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Secondary: Agentic AI workflows, agent integration patterns, agent development frameworks, SnapLogic or other iPaaS platforms, Power BI/Tableau, Azure Document Intelligence, Microsoft Power Platform, Postman, or SoapUI
