About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own sprint planning for assigned technical workstreams and break down solution architecture and epics into stories and tasks
- Conduct story estimation, maintain backlog discipline, track velocity, and manage scope changes
- Drive daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Lead and coordinate matrixed teams of engineers, data engineers, architects, QA, and other specialists
- Clarify technical requirements and design intent
- Coordinate distributed teams across geographies and time zones
- Manage cross-team, vendor, and client-side dependencies and blockers
- Define and enforce acceptance criteria and facilitate code/design reviews
- Partner with QA on test coverage, defects, rework, and quality metrics
- Track workstream health, deliverables, timelines, budget, capacity, risks, and issues
- Report progress, risks, issues, and escalation decisions to engagement leadership weekly
- Serve as the primary communication conduit between delivery teams and client or engagement stakeholders
- Facilitate client design reviews and demos and manage stakeholder expectations
- Manage interactions with Adobe Professional Services, Adobe Support, and other vendors
- Support Adobe platform training, certification, and technical skill development
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- 4+ years of technical project management experience in software development, systems integration, or consulting delivery
- 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Adobe Experience Cloud or comparable enterprise technology implementations
- Proven track record managing technical teams of 5-15+ professionals across multiple disciplines
- Experience working in agile and hybrid delivery environments
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-workstream technical projects with dependencies across teams
- Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud, with hands-on familiarity with at least 2-3 of AEM, Experience Platform, Journey Optimizer, Analytics, or comparable platforms
- Understanding of data architecture, APIs, integrations, and cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability
- Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
- Expertise in sprint planning, backlog management, capacity planning, and velocity tracking
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, Asana, or similar
- Strong estimation, dependency tracking, risk management, KPI tracking, timeline accountability, and budget management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, adaptability, and conflict-management skills
- Preferred: Adobe Certified Professional or Developer certification; project management certification; consultancy, systems integrator, or services firm experience; hands-on technical background; distributed global team experience; change management experience; regulated-industry familiarity
